El Dorado condos still battling Wilma’s effects

Residents of the El Dorado condo towers in Aventura have been living in a construction zone for months as workers replace balconies and other damage from Hurricane Wilma.

It's been tough on residents but it beats the alternative -- doing nothing while waiting for a check from the insurance company. The condo association took out a $15 million loan to get the work done while it awaits ajudication of its lawsuit against QBE Insurance.

And El Dorado is not the only complex still living with Wilma's effects.
