Views divided on Kosher version of Subway eatery
Subway, the fast-food franchise chain, has opened a kosher version of its restaurant in North Miami Beach.
Using a soy-based cheese substitute, Subway is able to offer its Jewish clientele a steak and "cheese" sandwich while staying kosher.
The restaurant, one of fewer than a dozen like it in the country, is a breakthrough of sorts. But not everyone is happy.
