Cancer detection innovator opens Aventura office
A Nevada company that claims to have developed a cost-effective way to spot some forms of cancer has chosen Aventura as the home for its Southeast sales and executive offices.
ChromoCure Inc. says Dr. Jay Ellenby will be its business and sales director based in Aventura. Ellenby is a member of the firm’s Board of Advisors.
ChromoCure’s proprietary cancer detection system measures a unique genomic characteristic found in 100 percent of cancers and never found in normal cells. Its initial uses in detecting prostate and cervical cancer hold the promise of saving millions of dollars by eliminating false positive results, according to the company’s website.
The company's stock trades on the pink sheets as KKUR.
