Richard Triana of Aventura has been elected a director of the international Project Management Institute.

PMI is the the world`s leading project management professional membership organization with more than 500,000 members and credential holders in more than 185 countries. The Board of Directors is composed of 15 directors elected by the membership, each serving a three-year term.

The international volunteer leadership group is responsible for setting strategy, establishing policies, and providing oversight to meet the needs of the PMI members.
