Aventura’s Parc Central target of foreclosure suit
Bank of America has sued MCZ/Centrum Developers for $23.5 million in a foreclosure action involving Parc Central in Aventura, the South Florida Business Journal is reporting.
The weekly says the 351-unit Aventura condo project is one of four MCZ/Centrum properties involved in the suit. The bank is seeking to take possession of 64 unsold units at Parc Central, a 20-story tower at 3300 NE 192nd St.
The suit alleges the Chicago-based developer failed to pay interest on its mortgage and didn't pay its 2008 property tax bill.
Two of the other projects involved in the foreclosure action are in Orlando and a third is in Sarasota.
