Cancer research center coming to Aventura

ChromoCure Inc., the Nevada-based provider of cutting edge cancer diagnostic equipment, says it plans to open its Southeast Research Center in Aventura sometime in the first quarter of 2010.

According to the announcement made Dec. 16, the center will have the ChromoCure CS200 Chromosomal Scanner and will offer equipment training, theoretical education, and lab support to research and pathology partners.

ChromoCure (Pinksheets: KKUR) says its technology detects the single characteristic found in 100 percent of all cancers at all stages, and never found in normal cells.

The site of the new facility was not released.
